East Winch is a quieter, more rural neighbour to West Winch, with a character all its own — and lead work requirements to match its older property stock.
The village has a noticeably different feel to its western counterpart — there are some attractive older brick and flint properties grouped near the church on Lynn Road, along with a number of converted agricultural buildings on the village fringes. These older structures tend to have more complex roof geometries, with hips, valleys and large chimneys that all depend on quality lead work to remain weathertight through the wet Norfolk winters.
We cover chimney re-flashing, valley replacement and lead soaker installation on properties in East Winch and the surrounding area including Middleton and North Runcton. All our lead is sourced to BS EN 12588 and we dress and clip every sheet correctly rather than relying on sealant. Ring us to book a free roof survey — we can usually visit within a few days.
