St Nicholas' church on Lynn Road has been Grade I listed since 1960, and it is mainly flint with some carstone under a lead roof, with slate over the north aisle, pantiles on the south porch and tiles on the chancel. One building, four coverings, which is roughly how roofing goes in this village. Some weeks it is pantile work, some weeks slate, some weeks plain tile, and the ladders and access change with it.
